With Spring just around the corner, you may feel like you need a new look for the upcoming season. Why not make a difference to the planet and freshen your wardrobe up with some sustainable staple pieces instead? Whilst it's important that we express ourselves through our clothing, it's equally important that we think about the environment and refrain from going overboard with endless purchases. Check out these sustainable brands and beautiful pieces and give yourself a new look this spring.

H&M Spring 2020 Conscious Collection

H&M are set to launch their exclusive spring conscious collection on March 26th 2020, which will feature a range of seasonal pieces made from sustainable materials. The collection is inspired by the Golden Age of train travel, specifically Le Train Bleu, the elegant sleeper train that ran from Calais to the Côte d’Azur in the 1920s. Embrace your style with floaty silhouettes and floral prints this season with detailed flamboyant evening gowns and taffeta mini dresses. H&M has delivered 11 conscious exclusive collections since 2012 and each product must contain at least 50% sustainable materials to be in the collection.

For this spring collection, H&M discovered Vegea, which is a vegan leather alternative made from the skins and stalks of discarded grapes. The collection also features a new sustainably sourced material Circulose®, which is a natural material produced from recycled textiles as well as Renutm, which is a high-quality recycled polyester, created through the RENU™ project.

Some of the key pieces in the collection include, a floor-length recycled polyester ball gown, a recycled taffeta blouse with embellished sleeves and a pair of flat cocktail slippers with recycled glass bead embellishment.
